It's not so much that they're paying out huge bonuses after accepting billions in bailout funds from taxpayers. It's that they're paying out huge bonuses to the guys who, you know, nearly destroyed the world's economy. Screwing over millions of formerly hard-working people ought to be its own reward.

I think it's too early to leave it just at "NEARLY" destroyed the world's economy. Thank God I got out of banking decades ago.

No kidding. It's like this country's MO when it comes to upper administrative types: promote and reward those who have demonstrated failure. I see it all of the time (at much less traumatic levels). It's nuts.
