Rumble Among the Jungle, Matches 1.5-1.8

Rules and Stuff
1) It's probably possible to vote more than once per poll, but please don't. If I believe that someone is voting repeatedly, I will throw out those results, repost the poll, and seriously question that person's priorities.
2) If you want to link to a poll on Twitter / Facebook / your blog / whatever and encourage your friends to come and pump up the support for your favorite plants, you are encouraged to do so.
3) You are also encouraged to leave comments on Rumble posts, if so moved.
4) All photos will enlarge if opened in a separate window/tab.
5) You can choose which plant is "best" according to whatever criteria you decide for yourself. My personal process is a bit convoluted.1
6) All polls will be open for three days.

1 I'm deciding according to a hypothetical situation in which all of my houseplants are gone, as are all the other houseplants of the world, except for one producer/supplier/retailer. Said person is offering to restock me with one or the other of the plants in question but refuses to give me both. Which one would I choose?

So far, I've only voted with the majority twice. This is kinda frustrating.

(5/8 are going the way I predicted they would, though, so there is that.)

Pachypodium vs. Epipremnum aureum - tough call for me. I wish they had met in the round of 16.

Dear Purple waffle plant: why don't you hang out where I live? Are my stores anti-waffle?

I'm now at three for eight with the majority, but suspect it's only going to get worse.

Are people voting for Echinopsis because they like Echinopsis, or do people just really, really hate Cyclamen for some reason? I'm curious.

Really, really, REALLT hate cyclamen. They die in my care. Not sure which came first, the dying or the hating.

Jade plants versus scindapsus pictus was a tough one. Jade plants won but only because they encompass more variety.

I didn't notice about the majority/minority thing, I'll have to pay more attention tomorrow.

I'm just aiming for the edible ones.

I voted for the Cyclamen. I had a bad experience with it because I was inexperienced enough to buy one that came complete with Cyclamen mites, but it was my absolute favorite plant while I had it. I'll have to get another one sometime.

Love Echinopsis, those flowers are spectacular.

Cyclamen are for outdoors, to surprise you from under shrubs with dainty loveliness.
