It's flavored with Torch Aloe (Aloe arborescense) and Barbados Cherry (Malphigia galbra/punicifolia). I can't imagine it tastes good because Barbados Cherry are extremely sour with pretty much no other taste profile and aloe in general tastes exceptionally bitter. Some have been used as arrow poisons. Therefore it would be best to be sure of the species before using the gel on cuts or burns. Apparently the nasty ones have the characteristic mousy smell of hemlock.
