My first one was a 'rescue' plant and I swear I did not feed it at all for a year. Honestly. It was potted in bark in a clear pot and watered about once a week. It flowered for most of that year. Ok, it would not have won prizes, but it did ok! Okay, so I'm not apprehensive anymore but neither am I down to neglecting them.
