Do you still possess this plant, and if so, how is it doing and what does it look like now? Terribly interested in the Bunya-bunya ever since seeing it in a very old pamphlet from the New York botanical gardens.

There are not many people who grow this as a house Xochinysiushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04783563952108871115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2481706068105246695.post-56170240796907543482013-09-10T06:37:44.755-07:002013-09-10T06:37:44.755-07:00Dear CA Brown, I am very interested on them!! My co-worker came acoss one of the "killer cones" in our local park and brought it in to marvel over (he's a field biologist; I'm a field biologist turned office drone). I went and picked up two after work. (BTW, its White Park in Riverside, CA, if anyone reading this is clse enough to care.) On June 16, an 85 foot tall bunya bunya that was my next door neighbor, was felled by chainsaw and 4 men. It was a very healthy 75 year old and vigorous enough to do property damage to my neighbor's driveway, sealing it's doom.
