Pretty picture: Narcissus cv.

I haven't worked this job long enough to accept the idea of daffodils in January as normal.

Also I dislike it because it makes me feel like this must be April, in which case I'm extremely behind on everything and have an impossible amount of work to do. Surprisingly, knowing that it's not April isn't much comfort.

  1. Looks like N. 'Tete a Tete', though this cultivar usually has two flowers per stem.

  2. Does it change your guess if I tell you the flower is very tiny? (It's less than an inch and a half across.)

  3. Not at all, it confirms it. 'Tete a Tete' is a miniature, and also the most widely grown Narcissus cultivar for forcing commercially.

  4. I checked the tags: it is in fact 'Tete a Tete,' according to our supplier.
