Blogiversary

I've now completed a fourth year of blogging at PATSP.

I'm not sure how I feel about that, or whether I feel anything about that. The longer I do this, the harder it becomes to imagine doing anything else, so the less noteworthy it seems. I've been blogging, so I keep blogging, because I don't remember how I filled my time before blogging. It's not a bad thing, it's not a good thing, it's just how life is.

Maybe I'm not in the blogiversary spirit today. (Bloggy Claus is going to come down the tube and leave spam in my inbox for sure!)

Ah, well. I've been saving Gazania photos for this for five months,1 so let's break 'em out.

    Hey, don't sell yourself short. You are not just a blogger. You're also a teacher and an entertainer. I check your site every day because you make me care. Thank you for the tremendous effort it takes to write full-time for years. You rock.

    In the world of blogs, writing and posting as often as you do and continuing for four years is unusual and very noteworthy. Congrats! Liza is right ... you are a teacher and an entertainer and thanks for all the time you have put into it.

    Happy Blogiversary! I deeply appreciate the energy it's taken to keep this blog going with such high quality for four years, and following it has been helpful and stimulating. I hope doing it brings you fulfillment and growth and other good things, and that you'll continue to do it for those reasons and not because it's growing harder to imagine alternatives...

    4 years! That requires dedication. I have learnt a lot from your blog, so thank you.

    I want to try an air plant again. I had one once but someone else kept watering it, so I stopped, and they stopped, and it died. I went to one garden centre in June and they said they were seasonal? But I don't see why.
