Muscari, who (which?) are (is?) maybe a few days past prime blooming at the moment. As last year, I find them utterly charming.
They are pretty adorable!
ReplyDeleteIsn't there some descriptive connection between Mascari genus and the Muscot wine grape? The flower resemble a bunch of grapes. Matti. Gorgeous btw.
ReplyDeleteI saw a white Muscari (at least, I'm 99% sure that's what it was) the other day. It kind of faded into the whole scheme of the daffodil-tulip-hyacinth bulb, but the small white flowers as a backdrop really lit up the bed.
