Many Neoregelia varieties change leaf colors when they're in bloom, usually toward the plant's center, like this. This doesn't happen to be one of those varieties, though. 'Fireball' just turns reddish when it's getting lots of sun (hence the name). Apparently being on the corner of the table gives it just enough light to put it over the edge to redness, while all the other plants on the table stay green.
