Pretty picture: Hibiscus rosa-sinensis bud


I'm not saying that Hibiscus flower buds are anywhere near as pretty as Hibiscus flower flowers are, but I bet you we'd still grow Hibiscus even if the buds were all we ever got.

Wow. I never stopped to admire a hibiscus bud before - I was always too impatient for it to get to the flower stage. This is every bit as lovely as a rosebud! Nice photo!

How's the neck doing?

very nice!
i have a variety of hibiscus - the flowers are about one third the size of the regular ones, red and they dont open like the big ones do. no idea what it is called. i'll post pictures sometime.
