WOAH! At first I just thought, hmmm that's pretty. Kinda odd. Then the closer you get the more downright Lovecraftian it all becomes. Neat!

While some bulbos are lovely in the traditional sense of beauty, others -- like this one -- have a different appeal. Their flowers are uniquely or even bizarrely designed. People tend to either dislike such deviations from the norm outright or find them strangely fascinating.

this plant reminds me of some of the paleozoic creatures of the Burgess shale. which means hell yeah, I love it! :D
however it does look bizarre.

I couldn't help laughing out loud upon seeing it and remembering the question mark in brackets after "pretty" though :DDD
