PATSP is a long-winded, intermittently humorous blog which is mostly about houseplants, particularly Anthuriums and Schlumbergeras.
For those who wondered: Mom called this morning while I was still asleep and apologized for having said she'd get back to me and then not getting back to me. The funeral is/was today; by the time I tried to call back, there was no answer, so presumably the family had already left. Kind of an anticlimax, but I'm not going to complain about it.

Maybe your mom read your blog and knew how you felt about it.
I doubt it: last I knew she still had trouble with the concept of e-mail, much less doing Google searches to find her pseudonymous son's thoughts on an upcoming funeral.
