Pretty picture: Lithops group planting

I did this at work yesterday, and thought it came out well enough to be worth sharing. I intended to hide them better, but was hampered by a limited pebble palette: some greenish or bluish pebbles would have helped a great deal. Or some black or yellowish Lithops. Whichever.

Nice picture - too often you see them sitting isolated in a barren pot, after all the effort they've expended on trying to look like the surrounding desert. "Nobody here but us pebbles!" Seen them in bloom but never any seed pods. Do they? What sort?

Well, they must, because it's not terribly difficult to find Lithops seeds for sale. I can't say I've ever seen any in person, though.

That is a very cool way to display them! I'll admit to having a soft spot for lithops - they're just *so* peculiar.

Someday, when I actually have windows and sunlight, I'll get some of these :)!

Well done!

The one non-lithop is definitely the odd-man out -- his disguise just isn't as complete. :)
