PATSP is a long-winded, intermittently humorous blog which is mostly about houseplants, particularly Anthuriums and Schlumbergeras.
This orchid picture is not from the Quad Cities Orchid Show last March, unlike most of the orchid pictures I post. It's not that I've suddenly become a fan of Phalaenopsis or anything, but I thought this was an interesting variety, with an unusual pattern to it.

That is a truely unusual phalaenopsis.
I've always been a huge fan of the purple and yellow splotched Phals in all their various guises.
This noid may be closely related to Phal. Yu Pin Natzume 'Pikachu'. I just ran across a picture of yours and they look somewhat similar. Greg.
