Dr. Horrible Act III is up.

For those of you who watched I and II. Go see it and then come back here and we'll have some consoling Euphorbias. Milk and cookies, too, if the Euphorbias fail to be consoling enough. Perhaps heroin.

It's always advisable, when watching a Joss Whedon-connected project, to get the most terrified when things look like they might work out okay. If the angst level drops, something really, really awful is about to happen. You'll see what I mean.

I guess I should have known from "Serenity". I never watched Buffy or Angel so... yeah. This was pretty painful. Penny forgave Billy before she died. You could TELL he did not have the necessary evil to actually kill Captain Hammer or anyone else.

He may be a mad scientist -- but he is not evil.

A lot of people around on-line are saying that this was super-dramatic and not funny at all. Totally not true. It was funny. I mean, c'mon, one of the supervillains in the Evil League of Evil is "Fake Thomas Jefferson!" That's comedy gold!

You just don't care by the time you get to Fake Thomas Jefferson, because you're too worried about Dr. Horrible.

Which is as it should be, I guess.

I figured after seeing Part II that there were only two ways this could go: either Penny dies or Penny is revealed to be Bad Horse. And I was right, alas.

The up side, I guess, if there's an up side, is that this is very clearly a supervillain origin story. There could be more Dr. Horrible later.

Hi, I came across your blog searching for information on Zamiifolia. I like your account VERY much. I can relate to this with regards to propagation and care. We have one of these at work in the office, in semi shade on a desk between two windows and it produces leaf after leaf. But I may say it might be quite a mature plant, larger than on your photographs, to begin with. Needless to say it hardly gets any water as it seems to be forgotten. I really like your blog and will try and propagate this plant.
