This isn't particularly unusual; the Marantas in the greenhouse have flowered before, and the flowers wouldn't be stunningly attractive even if they were rare. (Though they're okay.) Regardless, it's kind of nice to see, if only as a signal that all is more or less well in Marantaville.

Random plant event: Maranta leuconeura kerchoviana flowers
This isn't particularly unusual; the Marantas in the greenhouse have flowered before, and the flowers wouldn't be stunningly attractive even if they were rare. (Though they're okay.) Regardless, it's kind of nice to see, if only as a signal that all is more or less well in Marantaville.

I had a lovely M kerchoveana ages ago when I was seriously into houseplants. Mine used to bloom for me every year, but it never did grow very large. The old growth would always die back on me for some reason. Maybe it wasn't as happy as it should have been...
